The Holiday Inn Express / Hotel Indigo represent the property of 9th and Red River, LLC which opened in March 2016.

The development is composed of ±180 room Holiday Inn Express Hotel and ±134 room Indigo Hotel, sitting above three (3) levels of parking. The existing site slopes 30’ from Neches to Red River and the parking will be built into the hillside slope with the lower level on Neches Street. The first level will contain dual functions for each hotel including reception, lobby, dining and other public functions. Also at this level, an outdoor roof top court is proposed with a swimming pool. Certain back-of-house functions will be shared by each hotel. No extensive meeting rooms / conference space is currently planned. Above this level will be levels of standard Holiday Inn Express guestroom suites for 180 guestrooms on floors 2-5. Levels 6-10 will contain Indigo standard guestrooms. The total square footage is estimated at ±167,000 plus 88,500 for the garage. MCS Architects, LLC. did both Architectural and Interior Design.
